German law requires an Impressum containing name and address of the author of a website. Although I'm not sure the english pages of a non-german citizen fall under that law, the penalties may be horrendous, and some creepy lawyers are making a living suing innocent people arguing that they have violated their "rights".

 To avoid that my personal data are skimmed by bots and spiders roaming the web, they are protected by a password, which you may read in the figure below (next to the address link).
